How fortunate that the sisters were able to make it out. I have a manager from Israel who worked for me; his father survived Auschwitz but remains bitter to this day -- he believes that God reneged on His covenant with the Jews. The son, who works with me, is faithful, but he does not know what to say to his father, and there is a resultant estrangement.
