I remember having a similar revelation about the "Our Father" which I was praying by myself (like, why don't I say "My Father"?) and coming to the same jaw-dropping conclusion. We are indeed surrounded by a cloud of witnesses, united by one Heart! :) Thanks again so much for contributing to the First Friday Link-Up, I can't tell you how much I enjoy your posts! (I'm only sorry this comment is so late but I've been ill for the past week and only now beginning to emerge!) :)Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11945205823642688821noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5397690736097672103.post-19904114263860201432013-11-04T15:44:00.848-06:002013-11-04T15:44:00.848-06:00Thanks for the recommendation. It gets right down to basics, since it is based on talks originally given to youths. The book is by Luigi Giussani, titled: Why the Church? I found all of his books most delightful in their clarity, yet depth, but I rate this his finest. It shall be on my Christmas giving list for many of my friends.Do Not Be Anxioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04607616214486933423noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5397690736097672103.post-81221184731861965232013-10-31T16:37:39.195-05:002013-10-31T16:37:39.195-05:00I didn't know that communion means common-unio...I didn't know that communion means common-union! And, if Eucharist means thanksgiving, then we offer our gratitude together at every Mass. How wonderful! There is so much to be thankful for!Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06195528409761980551noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5397690736097672103.post-11671087854594502282013-10-31T16:36:42.544-05:002013-10-31T16:36:42.544-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06195528409761980551noreply@blogger.com
